Undergraduates Laura Oelsner and Sheila Tabatabai participated in the Biomedical Hall of Innovation on Picnic Day 2018. They showcased an example of a Brain Computer Interface (BCI) in a skit. The BCI used electrodes placed on the scalp to measure the electroencephalographic (EEG) signals from the brain. These signals were interpreted by a decoder to classify the neural data and choose the correct letter.
